Center for Freedom and Justice (CFJ) is a Palestinian NGO.
We are located between Bethlehem and Hebron on the main southern highway of the West Bank Route 60. The Center for Freedom and Justice (CFJ) was formally established in 2010 as a mean to address the lack of community development and organizing programs in rural Palestinian communities. Through a combination of educational and development programs, the Center seeks to build the collective and strategic power of these communities, and improve the lives of rural West Bank residents.
Our Mission
CFJ’s mission is to develop grassroots leadership by empowering rural Palestinian communities because they are often under-represented and under-served by nonprofit organizations and the Palestinian Authority. Most non-profit and PA assistance programs are concentrated in urban areas. We target marginalized groups including women and youth.
Our Values
"We embrace continuous improvement, bold creativity, and change."
Our General Objective
- To strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian society and to contribute in alleviating its suffering through the provision of social, educational and recreational services to the neglected areas.
- Activate the role of the local community in the process of sustainable development in the field of agriculture and other income-generating projects along with upgraded, excellent and professional service delivery.
- Increase citizens' awareness of their legal rights and procedures to be followed in the case of violation of their rights.
